The academy: the party's training and intellectual arm

Why AL-Eslah Party founded a political academy, and what it expects from it.

About the Party

AL-Eslah Party founded the Political Academy as a strategic response to Jordan's political modernisation and as a step towards institutionalising programme-based party work. Through it the party aims to equip young and women leaders with the political and professional skills needed to take an active part in public life.

The academy bridges political thought and practice by building a competent national current able to take part in decision-making and public administration, sustaining comprehensive reform and the values of citizenship and justice.

Why the academy

  • Competent capacity: qualified party cadres able to manage public affairs.
  • Supporting the Royal modernisation vision: aligning the party's work with national priorities that put young people first.
  • Systematic party education: a learning reference that produces curricula reflecting the party's ideas and programmes.
  • Empowering active groups: leadership skills for women and young people, and a stronger role in elections and public work.
